Helen is a Yoga teacher based in Brighton offering private one-to-one sessions.
With over 20 years of experience across movement, Yoga, nutrition, rehabilitation and injury support, her work is grounded, practical and tailored to the individual.
She works with people who want to feel better in their bodies and clearer in their minds, whether that’s easing long-standing tension, recovering from injury, improving strength, flexibility and mobility, or finding a steadier sense of energy day to day.
Her teaching is practical, grounded and human-focused, helping you understand your body more clearly and feel more connected to yourself.
Helen’s approach brings together traditional Yoga, breath work, elements of Pilates, strength and a modern understanding of how the body works. Sessions may include a balance of more active, strengthening work alongside slower, restorative practices, depending on what you need and the direction you wish to take it.
Breath is at the centre of her teaching. Learning to breathe well can make a real difference to how you move, and how your pelvic floor, core and posture work together. It can also help you feel less tense, improve digestion and boost your energy.
Rather than working only at the surface, Helen looks at what may be driving imbalance or discomfort, whether that’s movement patterns, lifestyle, stress or recovery.
At the heart of it is a simple idea: real progress comes from paying attention to yourself and making small, consistent changes that support how you want to live.
Helen offers thoughtful guidance and steady accountability helping you build tools you can carry into everyday life.
Helen completed her 500-hour Yoga teacher training in India and has returned many times to further study in posture, philosophy, breath work and Ayurveda. She also holds qualifications in exercise physiology, Pilates and nutrition.
